We are currently processing all kits within two weeks of receiving them at our facility. 

We offer expedited 1 business day or 3 business days services for an additional charge, you may request this directly on our website when you make your next trade-in request.

Review this brochure and the what we take section on the website for further trading guidelines. 

We strictly do not accept fast fashion, discount chain brands, or juniors brands, as well as damaged, worn out, stained, shrunk, or inauthentic products. To maximize your experience with SilkRoll, please refrain from sending us these products.

Trading in your fashion is FREE. We charge a $5 deposit which will be refunded once your kit arrives at our facility.

Unlike regular consignment or resale, we don’t have a list of accepted brands. We have accepted 5,000+ brands into our collection and growing.

We accept all high-quality, high-end, and luxury fashion brands, depending on the condition they come in. Most products that get listed are in near-new or brand new condition, except certain vintage or limited edition products.

Along with our commitment to eliminate “Fast Fashion”, we strictly do not accept these type of brands:

  • Fast Fashion such as: Old Navy, H&M, Forever 21, Fabletics, Missguided, Primark, LulaRoe Etc.
  • Discount Chains such as: Target, Walmart, Amazon, Kohls, JCPenney, Sears, K-Mart, Etc.
  • Juniors such as: American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, Pink, Mudd, Etc

We accept the below brands on a selective basis, the products have to be in excellent/new condition, and they must have elements of unique styles and design:

We accept clothing in all sizes. 

All products listed are acquired from our customers’ trade-ins. The more trade-ins we get in a certain size, the larger our collection in that size becomes!

For products we don’t accept, you do not earn any Qs.

We offer a Return Service Request (RSR) option when you request your trade-in kit, to have all unaccepted items shipped back to you for a $25 fee. 

SilkRoll is committed to lengthening the life cycle of fashion.

We actively collaborate with with strategic partners to ensure all products we receive get reused, recycled or up-cycled sustainably.

Absolutely, if you run out of Qs or don't have any, you can purchase any of our products online by paying  cash!

All cash prices are listed in your shopping cart for your for easy viewing before checkout.

If you paid cash and received a product that is damaged/stained/inauthentic that missed SilkRoll’s quality inspection process, image evidence must be provided to SilkRoll within 24 hours of receiving the package together with a refund request. SilkRoll reserves the right to further investigate and determine if the refund will be granted.

Pricing and Memberships

Its FREE to trade-in fashion to SilkRoll, we charge a $5 kit deposit which is refunded when we receive your kit. Unlike consignment or resale, SilkRoll charges 0% commission on products sold. 

When you place an order with us, simply pay a 2% processing fee* on the items in your cart.

We provide USPS ground shipping and offer bundle rates starting at $9.90 for up to 4 items per order.

*Note the processing fee is non-refundable. For Qs purchase returns, only Qs s will be refunded. For cash purchase returns, the full amount of cash paid minus a $2.99 per item restocking fee will be refunded.

Shipping and Returns

If you requested a Free shipping label to trade-in items using your own box, an email is sent to you with the link to download your label. If you don't see the email, please check your spam folder and mark the email as "Safe" to avoid future issues.

If you still can't find the email, go to your profile >> My Kit, and click on the button "PRINT SHIPPING LABEL". 

If you requested Trade-in Kit to be shipped to you for $1.99, please wait 3-7 business days for it to arrive in your mail. If you don't receive it after that, please contact us at hello@silkroll.com

We use USPS Ground for all standard shipments. Orders will be shipped out 1-3 business days from the order date, and delivery will take another 2-5 business days based on your location.

We currently only offer US Domestic shipping via USPS Ground.

For SilkRoll members:

  • Shipping is always FREE.

For non-members:

  • We offer bundle shipping starting at $9.90 to anywhere in the US for up to 4 items in your cart. 
  • We offer additional bundle shipping on larger orders, they will be automatically calculated at checkout. 

Yes, SilkRoll is the world’s largest shared closet, you can always trade back the items you don’t want anymore to earn points back as long as they are clean and still in great condition, so someone else can enjoy them!

There are no fees to return products, simply drop them into your next batch of trade-ins! We guarantee points back for items sent back in sellable condition, regardless of season or how long you keep them.

If you paid cash for a product, send it back within 3 days for a full cash refund minus a $2.99 restocking fee per item. If you send it back after 3 days, you'll still be eligible for a points reward. 

Clearance items are not eligible for any cash refund.

All About Qs

Qs are points you earn for trading in fashion to SilkRoll.

Redeem Qs for fashion items from our huge online catalog, just like how you would use your rewards and points on other websites!

Our trained staff and in-house AI award Qs to each product we accept based on our internal appraisal guidelines, that combines the item's estimated retail value, the condition it's in, and how desirable it is based on the current market.

Visit our How it works page to get an estimate of how many Qs you'll earn for your items based on the most common brands.

You can also browse our shopping pages to see what Qs value are given to similar items you'd like to trade-in.

We leverage our in-house proprietary artificial intelligence tool to guide us with fair valuation of each product. Our staff are also highly trained to award Qs as fairly and as accurately as possible according the product’s retail value, condition, style, and desirability.

If you don’t agree with our valuation, you may request all the accepted items to be sent back within 24 hours, and we will cancel the Qs credited to your account. Trade-in returns are subject to a $25 shipping and handling fee. 

Please email hello@silkroll.com within 24 hours of receiving your points to reject the offer and opt in to the above service. 

Our listing prices are not static.

We award customers with Qs using a combination of estimated retail price of the product and it’s suggested desirability based on our in-house data analytics. Once awarded, SilkRoll has the right to increase or decrease the price any time post listing, subject to changes in supply/demand. The listing price may change multiple times over a period of time.

Any changes in the listing price does not impact the points initially awarded to you.

Currently we do not offer the option to buy back Qs from you.

Qs transfer is subject to a 3% service fee.

You can purchase items directly in cash if you don't have enough Qs in your balance.

All cash amounts are displayed in your cart to review before checkout.

Good news, our Qs currently do not expire!

However as our services evolve, this may change in the future. We highly recommend that you redeem your Qs on a timely manner before we decide to expire them.
